Lousy Work is OK

What struck me the most today was that Einstein wrote 248 other research papers besides the ones on relativity. Edison held 1093 patents and Mozart wrote more than 600 pieces of music. It is not just that they were hardworking individuals who persevered and created, they also did lousy work, and a lot of them at that. They were not infallible and invincible.

Also read about how other successful people and businesses failed here. I was most impressed with James Dyson. He failed in 5126 prototypes before he invented the revolutionary vacuum cleaner.

So what are we afraid of? Does every piece of work that we do need to have a positive outcome? Is society's and workplace's stigma in play?
