I wish I'd had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.
We are always concerned what we do looks "strange". We are always looking for compliance and conformance. We stick to jobs that we don't like We go out with friends that we don't like to be with. Time to live harder.
I wish I didn't work so hard.
At the end of it all, we realise that they don't need us as much as we think they do.
I wish I'd had the courage to express my feelings.
When we love, do we show? When we hate, do we tell?
I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.
They come and go. We don't think we need them as much, particularly, after we start our own families. Perhaps we do.
I wish that I had let myself be happier.
We deserve to be happy. We are happy now.
